PICEA ABIES-Norway Spruce- 100-150' Zone 2. Very fast growth. Valued most for windbreaks in cold areas and timber production. Also used as an understock for grafting other Spruce. Extremely hardy and wind resistant. From 6-18" $2.00 to $5.00 depending on qty and size ordered.
PICEA ENGELMANNII-GUNNISON 150' Zone 2. One of the better Spruces for ornamental planting. Light bluish needles and dense pyramidal form.
9-15" seedlings are $1.20 each.
PICEA ENGELMANNII-LOLO 150' Zone 2. One of the better Spruces for ornamental planting. Light bluish needles and dense pyramidal form. 9-18" seedlings are $1.60 each.
PICEA GLAUCA - Whit Spruce- 75' Zone 3. Silver-green foliage on pendulous branches. Tolerant of wind, wet soils. Native to the northern U.S. and Canada. 9-15" taransplants are priced from $2 to $4 each.
PICEA GLAUCA DENSATA 90' Zone 2. Slow growing, compact tree. Bluish green foliage. Extremely hardy. As an ornamental it gives an alpine meadow effect. 6-9" transplants are $2.50 each.
PICEA OMORIKA- Serbian Spruce- 90' Zone 4. Considered the best of the Spruces for ornamental use especially in the eastern U.S. Narrow habit, glossy green needles white underneath, pendulous branchlets on older trees. Interesting purple cones. 6-18" transplants are $5 to $8 each.
PICEA PUN.GLAUCA KAIBAB -Blue Spruce- 100', Zone 2. Bluish to green foliage. Widely planted across the country. Our seedlings and transplants grown at a low bed density without excessive fertilization and are root pruned resulting in superior quality. 6-15 inch transplants are $3 to $7 each.
PICEA PUN.GLAUCA MAJESTIC BLUE To 100', Zone 2. A special seed grown selection reported to have fast growth and over 90% blue color (not guaranteed). Limited availability. 6-12" transplants are $3 to $4 each.
PICEA PUN.GLAUCA S.JUAN 100', Zone 2. Bluish foliage. Widely planted across the country. Our seedlings and transplants are grown at a low bed density without excessive fertilization and are root pruned resulting in superior quality. 12-24" plants are $5 to $10 each.
We only ship these liners by Ups or on our trucks in the spring. If you need them for a summer or fall planting you need to contact us and we will line them out in 1, 2, or 3gal pots and hold them for you. We also grow these on contract basis for cuttings and floral arrangement customers.
