Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia)
A small tree or shrub usually found as a clump. Crape myrtle is an great ornamental plant for residential yards and gardens. If you are not sure if you want either a shrub or small tree let this plant be your choice. In colder regions it dies back in winter, like a perennial plant. These trees have handsome bark, great foliage and many colorful summer flowers. Deciduous, they will lose their leaves in the fall.
