Our Bareroot Nursery Stock

Highland Hill Farm has hundreds of species and varieties of bareroot nursery stock. We have northern grown, cold hardy blooming shrubs and trees in our inventory. We ship bareroot trees and shrubs including conifers. The business has grown to included facilities in Fountainville Pa and Milan Pa with almost 2000 acres of farm ground. We are adding more planted acreage each year to our nursery. The Fountainville site provides an optimal area as our base of operations. The Milan site is excellent for ornamental shrubs and trees, seedling and transplant conifers, and nursery stock that grows best in our mild Pennsylvania climate. These sites allow us to grow a wide range of items including native plants and rare plants wholesale, items that are in limited supply in the nursery industry.

Bareroot shipping provides cost savings to our customers. Shipping without soil or containers provides reduced transportation costs. We routinely ship by UPS and on our own trucks throughout the east coast. Cost savings provided by use of bareroot trees and shrubs make them an excellent choice for large plantings such as nursery liners, orchard fruit trees or rootstock, conservation and reforestation projects, and wildlife habitat plantings.
